Tier 1 — Cloud

Frontier AI via Cloud Connection

When connectivity is available, PRISM routes complex analysis to cloud-based AI for deep reasoning, cross-system anomaly detection, and long-horizon planning. Full analytical power with the tradeoff of requiring a network link.

T2
Tier 2 — Local

On-Device Inference

When the cloud link drops, PRISM cascades to a local on-device model. Capable of anomaly triage, operational decisions, and real-time data processing without any external dependency. Millisecond latency, zero network required.

Tier 3 — Playbook

Deterministic Responses

For time-critical or safety-critical situations, PRISM executes pre-verified deterministic playbooks. Hardcoded response chains that fire in under a millisecond — no model inference, no uncertainty, no delay.
